2016/17 Board Nomination Form

CHCS is looking for new board members. Do you know someone who would be a great addition to our board?

We're looking for well-established professionals who can bring new talent and energy to our board. 

CHCS' bylaws only allow 2-3 parent members of our board, and because we already have parental board members who are not up for reelection, we are presently not seeking new parental board members for this election. To qualify, nominees must be residents of Fulton County, over the age of 18, and pass a criminal background check. 

In particular, the board is seeking skills it needs to increase: the skills of finance, governance, and communications are much appreciated. This is not a compensated position, although board members do get lottery preference for their children as well as the deep satisfaction of helping to grow a successful elementary and middle school in South Fulton County.

The Timeline: 

February: Call for Nominations and Screening
March: Board Interviews with Screened Nominees
April: Elections

Term

The terms for the seats elected will last from July 1 2016 to June 30 2018.
